KEY FEATURES

• The sliding step system is produced in accordance with the applicable regulations for installation under the vehicle.
• Due to the strong mounting base, the step is maximally resistant to possible impacts during difficult maneuvers (road culvert, obstacle).
• The side rails of the retractable steps are made of rolled, profiled material. The top and bottom fasteners are made of steel, because strength is the priority.
• The movement of the step is provided by an M8 toothed belt on rollers. In this way, the system works very quietly and does not generate vibrations.
• The foot pressure area consists of side steps made of 20 x 20 mm solid aluminum and 20 mm thick aluminum, rolled, profiled material. The foot pressure area is entirely made of aluminum. The step has a rubber finish, which creates a non-slip structure.
• There are 2 position relays / reed sensors in the step system. In this way, the positional information becomes a command. The control unit design and software are done by our employees.
• We use rotating shafts / rollers in our system, not bearings. In this way, we prevent it from wearing out easily and allow it to operate in difficult conditions.
• All metal surfaces are galvanized. We do not use materials containing lead. In addition, the upper and lower parts made of steel materials are coated with an electrostatic powder coating.
• The motor used in the step system is an IP67 rated motor. The motor is protected against water ingress.
• The system passed 1,000,000 opening and closing test. The engine has been in production for 5 years.
• Due to the rigid structure, our stairs can work smoothly and safely on 30 degrees inclination floors.
• The system has passed the EMC test and has been certified in accordance with the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC R10) automotive directive.
• The step is not hazardous due to possible mechanical or electrical failures. In the event of such a failure, the digital system warns the user with an acoustic signal. The user can easily push the step that is protruding and hazardous with a force of 10N; this eliminates the risk of an accident. This is the biggest advantage of this system.
• If a step is blocked, the step will close. If the step locks three times, the step will be switched off.
• Then the step will be secured and will not slide out.
• When the step is extended, it will emit a warning sound when the ignition is turned on.
• When the car is moving above the specified speed limit (5 km / h), the step will not open, and when the car moves with the open step above the specified speed limit (5 km / h), the step will close automatically.
• The Veldo step system is shipped with all parts for assembly. It allows for easy installation.
• In addition to the standard sizes, the step can be manufactured in the desired sizes.
